Our Quarry Product division, manufacture and supply all manner of aggregates, ready-mix concrete and tar macadam, which have been used in many of the key developments throughout the Highland area for the past 75 years. With production facilities across the Highlands and Moray, we are ideally placed to supply throughout the highland area, and we take great pride in our product and service quality.
Core Functions of Role:
Operation & Maintenance of Production Plant (Concrete batchers and providing Asphalt Plant cover)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operation & Maintenance of other plant (e.g. Loading Shovels, site mixers etc)
- Ensuring product quality and keeping production records
- Constituent ordering and stock-control
The above list is not exhaustive, and all work activities must be carried out in a safe and efficient manner ensuring the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies are adhered to at all times
Applicant Qualities
The successful applicant will ideally have the following skills, qualities & experience:
- Full UK driving licence is essential as you may be required to travel to other quarries in remote areas
- Reliable and flexible with the ability to work on own initiative but also as part of the team
- Have an aptitude for multi-tasking and structured approach to tasks, housekeeping etc
- Interest / ability in mechanical maintenance (training will be provided)
- Experience in construction / plant operation is an advantage but not essential.
- The ability to assist and co-operate positively with colleagues
- The ability to promote a good image of self and the company
- Be trustworthy, friendly, punctual and reliable.
