Since 1972, we have been manufacturing and supplying coated roadstone which has been used to construct many of the roads in the Highlands. Use of our own aggregates and subsequent delivery in our own large fleet of HGV tippers ensures complete control over the supply chain.

Our modern coating plant is capable of producing in excess of 100,000 tonnes per annum.

As surfacing contractors, we have an in-depth knowledge of the factors affecting performance on site and can adapt to any special requirements which we may feel would benefit our clients. We can offer advice on a variety of options which may help to reduce cost or increase quality. Our surfacing department can undertake laying of material to give complete peace of mind and full accountability from the quarry to the finished road surface.

Our in-house testing facility, backed up by external independent verification, ensures production control is tight and that our clients can be certain of getting the material to suit their requirements. Our design service team has developed a range of specialised mixes to give optimum performance for a wide variety of applications.

We are the sole manufacturers of ‘Handymac’ cold lay tarmacadam which can be stored on-site for up to six months prior to use. Tried and tested for over 30 years in the rigours of the Highland climate, Handymac offers extremely effective and low cost temporary repair for potholes and reinstatements.

All of our coated roadstones are CE Marked and produced within a quality management system which is externally accredited to ISO 9001 by BSi.

If you know the dimensions of the area you need for asphalt you can use our handy Product Calculator. This works out the approximate quantity required and sends an email to us, and we will then contact you to progress the order.
