HGV Driver (Tipper/Mixer/Hook Loader)

Location Based out of Spey Bay, Fochabers
Working Hours Mon-Fri (7am to 5pm) depending on workloads, with a guaranteed 40 hour per week minimum

Depending on experience 

Mon-Fri: Time and a Half after 40 hours 

Saturday: Time and a Half 

Sunday: Double Time 

(Weekend work is optional) 

Holidays 29 days per year

Core Functions of Role: 

  • Driving of HGV vehicles (primarily Tipper/Mixer/Hook Loader) 

As a primarily HGV driver, your duties will include: 

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks 
  • Effectively carry out material delivery activities on time and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction 
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork daily & weekly 
  • Report any vehicle defects 
  • Adhering to all health & safety requirements 

You will also be expected to ensure that all operations are carried out in line with UK and EU laws and regulations. These govern vehicle safety, driver hours, and customer’s requirements.

Applicant Qualities 

The successful applicant will have the following skills, qualities & experience: - 

  • C Licence as a minimum 
  • Hook Loader experience would be preferable, but training will be given 
  • Driver Qualification Card 
  • Digital Tacograph Card 
  • Flexible approach to work as driving different types of vehicle/delivering a variety of materials will be expected
