Customer Services Coordinator

Core Functions of Role 

• Providing a wide range of administrative support to the Quarry department 
• Organise and plan the movement of vehicles and delivery of materials/concrete with awareness of the local area

Reporting to the Commercial Supervisor, and as part of the Support Services Team, as the Customer Services Coordinator your duties will include:  

• Dealing with telephone and email enquiries from new and existing customers 
• Raising quotations and accepting orders
• Covering weighbridge 
• Receiving payments 
• Communicating with drivers, clients and other departments to ensure smooth operations 
• Complete other reasonable tasks, activities and projects as required

The successful applicant will ideally have: -

• Very structured and diligent approach to task management and record keeping. 
• Excellent communication skills, with both company clients and other company personnel. 
• The ability to assist and co-operate with other personnel. 
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake tasks out with the key job responsibilities. 
• Commitment to working as part of a team. 
• Be trustworthy, friendly, timeous and reliable. 

Certification 

• Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy with experience in word, excel, etc. 
• Desirable – Familiarity in the construction and/or quarry industries.
