We manufacture structural concrete to high specifications and supply throughout the Highlands. We use our own aggregates to produce a wide range of concrete mixes to suit any purpose from house foundations to specialist high strength mixes for bridge construction. Subsequent delivery over long distances is carried out using our flexible fleet of Ready Mix Trucks, specially adapted to accommodate long delivery distances to remote locations.

With our unique blend of in-house skills, we have a full appreciation of the factors affecting construction and how we can best adapt our concrete service to suit the specific construction requirement of the client. Stringent quality control techniques ensure that client specifications are met at all times. Our own in-house laboratory carries out sampling, curing and testing on a continual basis.

We have a wealth of experience in the design and supply of specialist concrete mixes to suit specific contract requirements. This includes lightweight concrete, high-flow concrete, high strength grouts, sulphate resistant concrete, and under-water concretes.

We have produced and supplied in excess of 15,000 cubic metres of concrete every year since 1961. In total, approximately 600,000 cubic metres of our concrete has been used in the development of Highland services and infrastructure.

We have supplied thousands of cubic metres of foamed concrete for use in the reinstatement of the Highlands roads after installation of utilities – and our concrete has also been used as the foundation for many thousands of homes throughout the Highlands. Notable projects include:

• 3,000 cubic metres of concrete supplied for wind turbine foundations at Novar Wind Farm.
• Concrete supplied to form the Invergordon supply base facility on the Cromarty Firth
• High strength, high flow grouts supplied to Barmac, Nigg to support oil rigs during construction and maintenance.
• Specialist underwater mixes provided to prevent washout pollution of watercourses etc.
• 1,000 cubic metres supplied to Lochinver Harbour construction project.
