Management and workforce work closely together to deliver a professional and efficient road surfacing service for clients. Our track record in road surfacing is reflected in the high number of repeat orders we get for this service.

We are experienced in delivering contracts which range from relatively small projects for private clients through to multi-million pound projects in the public sector. Importantly, we have the resources to cover all types of work from tennis courts to airfields and from driveways to major trunk roads.

We offer an impressive track record in a variety of services, including resurfacing involving the removal of existing blacktop; repairs to lean mix; laying of reinforcement mesh; resurfacing with asphalt basecourse and hot rolled asphalt wearing course plus road makings.

We also have extensive experience of producing and laying coloured asphalts for specialist applications – and we have the skills necessary to complete all kerbing and drainage requirements as necessary.

Our road surfacing resources are comprehensive and offer clients a professional and flexible service.
Key resources include:

• Paving machines equipped with sensor control for accuracy when laying coated materials.
• Laser control options for more challenging projects, such as tennis courts, where the laying tolerance can
be reduced to +/- 3mm
• Road planer equipped with sensor control to a tolerance of +/- 5mm
• In-house manufacture and delivery of material in our own fleet of vehicles ensures we have complete control over the supply chain.

We have undertaken numerous road surfacing contracts on behalf of many major client’s including the Scottish Executive, Highland Council etc – such as:

• A9 trunk road re-construction at Moy.
• A9 Trunk road re-construction at Bogbain.
• A9 trunk road reconstruction at Allangrange.
• Have laid over 1.25Million tonnes of surfacing material in the roads of the Highlands
These contracts comprised lane rental over a three week period and involved all the key resources of our company – roadstone manufacture, surfacing, haulage, civil engineering, waste disposal, traffic management – working together to complete the works efficiently – on budget and on time.
