Pat Munro Utilities successfully renew accreditation to the Water Industry Register Scheme (WIRS)

Pat Munro Utilities has successfully renewed its status as an accredited contractor under the Water Industry Register Scheme (WIRS), that is managed by the Lloyds Register.
Since first being accredited 7 years ago, Pat Munro’s Utilities Division has grown to become a recognised leader in water installation and water rehabilitation work across the North of Scotland with the capability to deliver complete water projects of all sizes – from design and obtaining technical approvals, through to installation, swabbing, pressure testing, disinfection, sampling, final connection, and commissioning.
We work with developers, consultant engineers, contractors, and small-scale domestic customers at all stages of a project, offering a “one stop shop”, from liaison with the various water providers, to the installation of the required pipework and final connection to the live public water network.

We are delighted to have renewed our accreditation to the Water Industry Register Scheme, demonstrating our high procedural standards and our understanding and competency in the water industries technical requirements, as well as the hygiene and health & safety aspects associated with water infrastructure installation works. We appreciate that navigating the specialist area of water utility works can be quite challenging and our aim is to take away all the difficulties of dealing with the water company and handling the self-lay works so there’s minimal input needed from the customer.
