Position Details
This is a permanent, full-time position working within our Quarries Department. The position is based primarily at our quarry in Dornoch but you may be required to work at alternative sites and will report to the Quarry Operations Manager.
Principal Job Responsibilities
Under this position you will be required to operate and maintain, the following:
- Wheeled Loading Shovels
- 360 Excavators
- Daily pre-use checks on plant including daily maintenance i.e. greasing, cleaning, topping up of fluids etc.
- Assisting in other tasks when required
- Operate within high safety standards for yourself and others

The Applicant
The successful applicant will ideally have the following skills, qualities & experience: -
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Experience in the Quarry industry is beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
- The post requires the successful applicant to be willing to undertake training to achieve Industry required standards.
